Hi I’m Steph, a video Editor based in London.

“Steph is an ideal person to be within an edit. She is calm, creative, collaborative and also flexible - a character rarer than you’d think in a film editor. Her ability to find shots that match intention is impressive and she is quick and efficient with her time. The sequences she creates tell stories with pace and rhythm and her technical ability is second-to-none, essential when working remotely.”

“Steph is a delight to work with. She is both brilliantly creative and super organised. Whether it’s a feature doc or a piece of branded content she has a great gift for storytelling and eye for detail. An editor that you don’t want to let go of.”

“Steph revealed once that she thinks, or she was once told, that the editor needs to feel like the director’s friend. That may be true, I certainly felt that; but more importantly, I felt Steph was a brilliant, devoted friend to the material, to the film. She fought for the truth. Her instincts are so so good; and they are the instincts of the documentarian that pursues truth and the dramatist that understands timing, rhythm and the power of performance. And without dismissing everything else I’ve written here; boy is she a good laugh.”

“I have worked with Steph on many projects for clients such as Natwest, Diageo, NHS and Activia. Not only has every film she cut resulted in both an extremely happy client and producer, she is an absolute delight to work with. She has fantastic storytelling sensibilities, is great with music, is super speedy for fast turnaround projects and has a religious eye for detail. She is my first port of call for any branded content project and selfishly, I hope I’m not shooting myself in the foot for providing this testimonial if it results in her being even more busy and unavailable for my projects!”

“Steph was a pleasure to work with, she’s quick, conscientious and has an eye for detail. We were both working remotely, which was a shame as we got on well, but that didn’t hinder our creativity and Steph was always available on the phone to talk through ideas. I would highly recommend her as an editor and hope to work with her again soon.”
